CHRISTWAY GOSPEL MISSION CHILDREN'S DAY SPEECH
Good morning our daddy and
mummy, Mr. and Mrs. Pastor Stephen Martey, Pastors, our honorable presiding
elder, Mr. Emmanuel Nortey, our honorable Elders, Deacons, Parents, distinguished
guests, Children, Ladies and Gentlemen.

is my name.
It deems me an honor to stand
before you this day to present a speech on behalf of myself and all the
children of Christway Gospel Mission.
Thanks be onto our father who is
in heaven for such a wonderful day like this.
God richly bless our daddy and
mummy in the house, Mr. and Mrs. Pastor Stephen Martey and his elders for
dedicating to us this day in the calendar of the church to celebrate our day.
We want to take this privilege
to say to all parents and everyone else playing the role of a parent that GOD
richly bless you with long, peaceful, healthy and prosperous life. May you live
to eat the fruits of your labor for us.
Because of us you wake up in
dawn at the crowing of the rooster and go and toil in the torture of sun shines
and rain falls to provide for our needs. We appreciate your persistent efforts.
Of course, children are very
important all over the world. So, the children’s day is celebrated in many
countries. The United Nations celebrates this on 20th of November
every year.
Today is a very important day in
the life of Christway Gospel Mission children, which reminds the elders about
their duties towards the children. A child is a lovely creature of God. Look at
a child and smile comes on your face automatically. A child’s innocent smile
and lovely face acts as a soothing balm to a parent who comes home tired after
a day’s hectic activities at his or her place of work. Children are like a tender
bud which has just started to bloom. This is the time when the children needs the
paramount care of the parents, teachers and all those who are connected with
their life.
As children, we don't know our
left from right, good from bad, all are identical to us.
The Bible says; teach the child
the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Our teachers and madams are
doing their best; teaching us to know God, his love, his ways and judgment. We appreciate their sacrificial dedication.
May God open onto them the doors of heaven and cause his blessings to overtake
them, may they increase in the wisdom, knowledge and power of the Almighty God.
For their work to be complete,
parents, you also have to contribute your part. So therefore, guide us, lead
us, teach us and direct us in the good path leading to salvation, brighter
future and successful end. Do not spare the rod whenever we go wrong but
correct and discipline us in love.
The Bible says in Psalms 127:3
and I quote "children are gifts from God" The Lord God Almighty in
the profusion of His unsearchable Wisdom gave us to you to represent you in the
future in your old age and even after your departure. Different children have
different talents, parents and teachers, you should not leave any opportunity
to let this treasure of talent out of their children and students respectively.
Children
are considered as the building blocks of the strong family, church and nation. Therefore, parents, the church and teachers take
extremely good care of us.
